Action Against Deforestation

I have recently come across a Brazilian organization, if I may call it that, called Amazonia8. The organization plans a project, in which main goal is to create an educative portal about the deforestation of the Amazon forest. If you are unaware about the magnitude of this global issue, do read further.

The project founders are three iron willed Brazilian students. They have produced an internet site that I admit impresses me greatly. To think of the fact that three "run-of-the-mill" students have decided to put their time and effort into this project is astonishing. They live near the forest. They know what is going on, at any rate, they know better than most people elsewhere in the world.
